The relevant facts are as follows. Appellant was charged by indictment on December 13, 1991. He was subsequently released
to the custody of pretrial services. He was arraigned on December 27, 1991, at which time a not guilty plea was entered on
appellant's behalf and a pretrial conference was set for February 20, 1992. Additionally, appellant received a copy of the
arraignment minute entry which modified the conditions of his release to require him to be present at the pretrial conference.
